Life keeps bringing the lessons we need to master. Mine? Patience.
10. A great many construction projects going on so you nearly can't go anywhere without hitting one.
9. Niki junping off the 3rd step down to the bottom (onto tiles).
8. Jenna taking off all her clothing every night when I think she is in her bed sleeping (including her diaper).
7. The kids picking green (un-ripe) raspberries, when there are so few to enjoy.
6. Jenna's ReHa KiGa not helping her to potty train so now she has given up (after several days of wetting numerous times there).
5. Niki "walking" from one swing to another on the swinging swings.
4. Jenna eating non-perishable items.
3. Niki doing twisting flips off the couch.
2. Günter not filling up the car with gas and running out as a result.
1. Jenna picking up slugs and squishing them in her hands.

Posted by: Traci at September 12, 2008 03:49 PMLooks like you just descibed a day in the life of a mother . . . well except for the hubby one. But really aren't our husbands a little like children too sometimes?
Posted by: Leslie at September 12, 2008 04:26 PMSend Jenna over! I have lots of BIG slugs she can squish! I don't mind. Really. :]
Sounds like you could use some Calgon...
Posted by: Angi at September 12, 2008 05:23 PMEWWWW!!!!!
I had a friend bring her kids over and they discovered my TONS of slugs! I paid them 2 cents each! They collected about 100! It took me longer to get the slug slime off their fingers than it took for them to collect them! The best part? The little boy was so sad to be leaving them he KISSED them goodbye!
Embrace the lunacy... remember how SURE we were that we'd love it??? :-)
I think Jenna and Kaden would get along great. He too loved to pick up slugs when we lived in Germany. Thankfully, he never squished them between his fingers, but I am sure you know how hard that sticky slime is to wash off.
