A friend sent this to me and the video is facinating. That kids can learn this is so amazing and it can save lives of those who have swimming pools at their home or in their neighborhood. It is mighty expensive, but surely worth it.
Posted by Krista at September 6, 2007 12:41 PMOk, first of all, that sounds like a wonderful program, and as a mother and swimming pool owner, I am a huge advocate of teaching kids to swim as early as possible. But that VIDEO - oh my... I know they shot the baby in the pool for dramatic effect, but it really upset me. I know he was safe and obviously someone was there watching (and filming) him, but I nearly screamed at my computer monitor for someone to help him out of the water already, especially when he started crying. And just when I feared my heart couldn't take it any longer, his dad (I'm assuming) picks him up and he smiles like crazy. I think I'll go lie down now. LOL
