Bus for Reha

On Tuesday and Wednesday Jenna took the bus to the Reha

I followed behind with Niki. There are two groups of buses and Jenna's is in the 2nd set so they wait in a long line until the first group have unloaded all the kids.

Then Jenna gets out and her teacher meets her and they go to an area until all the children are there. Thanksfully it is covered since it is always raining!

They then all walk back to the classroom and sit at the table and eat their breakfast (that I pack for her).

After she gets settled, I leave with Niki and take him to his KiGa in our village. After breakfast they have some freeplay then they have a little class then lunch then naps then more free play and come home.

Today is the first day I sent her on the bus without following. It is hard for me. We waved and blew kisses but I felt so sad and empty inside seeing the bus drive off. Today I still pick her up at 12:20 but tomorrow she rides the bus home too, then next week she does it all by herself. Sob. My baby is growing up.

You can tell from your pictures that Jenna will be in good care. Even the bus attendents look warm & friendly. How nice the transition process is done a little at a time -- for both your sake and Jenna's. Consider yourself hugged to help ease the emotions of motherhood. Blessed is that bond!

It's so hard letting go, but it looks like it's a really nice place, and she appears happy in the pictures. Try to enjoy some of the time you are getting to yourself. LOL

As hard as it is now, it's amazing to think about but you will get used to having her go. It seems like she's in good hands. I hope it's a great year for her!

Yeah, the people do look very kind, and she looked so happy in the car seat. Just bright and full of life.

But damn it SUCKS that they grow up, eh? (Well, sometimes . . .lol)

I echo the comments above. I am very glad that Jenna seems so happy. That is what really matters. I know that it will get easier for you too. How is Niki doing without Jenna at his school?

Jenna looks so cute and so happy...I'm sure she will do well there and it will be good for you too as you will have some free time for yourself. We are still so very hot here....so hot that the schools are keeping the children in their classrooms for recess. So far we have been very lucky with the hurricanes, but we still have another month to go before we can breathe a sigh of relief. I love the picture of Niki and Jenna...you must frame that one. Enjoy your weekend!
